The new AK19 style AK556 30rd magazine is designed to function in both your Bulgarian and Yugo spec 5.56/.223 AK.
Stamped steel AK19 angled baseplate not only looks great, but protects the lowest point of the magazine where it is most likely to be impacted or abused. The unique AK19 double detent mag insert further protects from harsh impacts and keeps the mag securely locked under impact.
The AK19 magazine is highly durable. Made from AC-Unity's exclusive polymer that is light weight and impact resistant through a wide range of temperatures. This advanced polymer gives these mags a huge edge in weight and durability.
Front and rear locking lugs are machined from GD ZN 410 metal legure; this is a specific marine grade metal-alloy that is hardened, anti-magnetic, highly anti-corrosive with great wear properties.
Carbon wire spring has a lifetime warranty against corrosion and will not degrade from use or loaded storage.
Mags shipped to NY, CO, CT, DE, MA, HI, RI,WA,IL,VT & DC will have the base sealed shut with epoxy and a rivet to fully comply with the laws there.
For states that do not require the base sealed shut we can still epoxy it shut on request free of charge. Just let us know you would like it done.
